Chebyshev 필터는 클래식 IIR 필터 설계법 중 하나로, 주어진 사양(통과대역 ripple, 차단대역 감쇠, 전이대역 너비)을 만족시키면서 빠른 롤오프(roll-off)를 제공하는 고성능 필터- 특히 Butterworth 필터보다 짧은 전이대역을 갖지만, **통과대역 또는 저지대역에 ripple(잔류진동)**을 허용합니다.
